About This Site

Finding a McLean County booking photo requires knowing who made the arrest and which out-of-county facility received the person. This private reference site organizes the official Sheriff, jailer, court, state corrections, and records-request paths that answer those questions. We do not host booking-photo galleries or government records.

Why This Reference Exists

Kentucky law allows access to many arrest and booking records, but McLean County does not publish one confirmed live county roster. The arresting agency starts the record, while the receiving jail usually controls intake details and the booking photograph. The McLean Circuit Court Clerk holds the case history and final disposition. For people committed to state custody, the Kentucky Department of Corrections publishes a separate offender record through KOOL. We bring those official routes, contact details, and request steps together without copying photos or building a gallery.

Records Paths We Explain

Each topic follows the custody stage and the office that actually holds the record.

  • The county records hub explains recent arrests, receiving-facility checks, booking records, photo requests, and lawful correction or removal routes.
  • The city pages explain how arrests from Livermore, Calhoun, and Island enter the county and regional custody system.
  • The roster, custody-alert, court, and Kentucky DOC steps keep local booking status separate from state imprisonment or supervision.
  • Records-request instructions identify the likely custodian and the response rules documented in Kentucky law.

Limits of Our Role

This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to the McLean County Sheriff’s Office, a receiving jail, the Kentucky Department of Corrections, any court, or another government agency.

  • We cannot release, detain, or transfer a person.
  • We cannot post bond, arrange a visit, or send funds.
  • We cannot provide legal advice.
  • We cannot promise that agency contacts, fees, or procedures have not changed.

Only the responsible sheriff, receiving jail, court, or corrections agency can confirm current custody, charges, transfer, or release.

Third-Party Search Partners

Some search boxes are operated by outside providers that set their own prices and control their results. If a visitor follows one of those tools and buys a subscription or report, this site may receive a referral fee that helps keep access free. We do not set a partner’s price or guarantee what its search returns.
